MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Welcome to Nunavut’s Capital and to our 45th Annual Toonik Tyme Festival. Since 1965 we have been celebrating our unique culture and the return of spring after a long, cold winter. With the mixture of traditional and non traditional events we are certain that the 2010 Toonik Tyme Festival will offer residence of Iqaluit, Nunavut and tourist visiting our City a chance to take-in or participate in events that are unique to the North, which not only showcases Iqaluit’s distinctive culture but Nunavut’s as well. This is our Society’s fifth year operating as a non-profit organization. Our hardworking volunteers and the generous support of local businesses and organizations make the Toonik Tyme Festival a reality each year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our major sponsors; Canadian North and the City of Iqaluit. Without the tremendous support we receive from you, the Toonik Tyme Festival would not be the great community tradition that it has become. Welcome and Enjoy the 2010 Toonik Tyme Festival!!!

Hello,
I am looking for contact information in regards to entertainment at your festival. My wife Desiree is an Aboriginal singer/songwriter from Manitoba and we are interested in your event.
Desiree is 26, and along with being a musician, she is also a lawyer and a tremendous role model for youth.
It is my hope that you could reply with possible email contacts.
Thank you,
Wade Houle
